Biography:
Python worked in Athens during the early 400’s B.C. He was a potter who specialized in small cups with distinctive forms, size of the foot, and shapes and angles of his handles. He is closely associated with the vase-painter, Douris but also produced cups for Epiktetos and the Triptolemos Painter.
